Elementary Positive Behavior Support (PBS) Paraprofessional

 

SUMMARY:
Hamilton Community Schools is seeking a part-time elementary paraprofessional to serve at Bentheim Elementary with positive behavior interventions starting in the 2024-25 school year.  This individual will assist elementary teachers/staff, principals, and the elementary positive behavior intervention coordinator with the behavioral support of students.  At times this might include working with a group of students or working as 1:1 with an individual student for periods of time or full days. 

 

LOCATION:  Bentheim Elementary

REPORTS TO:  Building Principal

START DATE: 2024-25 school year

WEEKLY HOURS: Monday-Friday from approximately 8:45-3:45 (approximately 32.5 hours per week, when students are in session)

SALARY RANGE: $16.11/hour (start)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25+ pounds.
