Substitute Custodian

LOCATION: Hamilton Community Schools
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent
- Successful completion of federal and state criminal background checks
- Ability to perform physical work that may include the lifting/moving of 50+ lbs.
- Demonstrates dependability and promptness
- Contribute to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standards
- Provide a foundation for integrity, pride of accomplishment, self-discipline, and teamwork
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Perform all routine cleaning and basic maintenance for the school as prescribed by the custodial duty listing and schedules which includes but is not limited to:
- Removing trash
- Cleaning and disinfecting floors, windows, restrooms, etc.
- Event setups/cleanups
- Changing light bulbs
- Vacuuming and mopping floors
- Other duties as assigned
REPORTS TO: Custodial Supervisor
PAY RATE: $16.09/hour (day shift); $17.59/hour (night shift)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, operate a computer, hand-held learning devices and other office equipment, reach with hands and arms, and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50+ pounds.
